At the beginning of the new semester, Beijing Normal University welcomed the 2024 freshmen in both Beijing and Zhuhai campuses. A series of welcoming activities and an opening ceremony for freshmen were held.

On the registration day, each department set up a welcome stand to handle registration procedures and distribute registration materials for help new students register. At the same time, the school held welcome activities such as daily necessities sales to facilitate the freshmen.

On September 2nd, BNU Beijing Campus held the opening ceremony for the 2024 freshmen. The president of BNU delivered a speech to encourage the 2024 freshmen to inherit the spirit of BNU, uphold their ideals and beliefs, and grow into outstanding talents at BNU. Teacher representatives, student representatives and freshman representatives also delivered speeches respectively.

On September 5th, BNU Zhuhai Campus also held an opening ceremony for freshmen.

The opening ceremony was live-streamed online through platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, and attracted widespread attention from teachers, students, their relatives, friends and the general public.
