Costume culture gets contemporary at Beijing Normal University
Multimedia technology is featured in the ongoing exhibition.
The Interactive Aesthetic Education Exhibition of Chinese Traditional Costume Culture opened at the Beijing Normal University on Aug 26.
Running until Sept 7, the exhibition is curated by Xiao Xiangrong, dean of the School of Arts and Communication at the Beijing Normal University.
It combines digital technology and traditional costumes, and features dance, graphic design, music and artificial intelligence.
As a result of the school's exploration of the latest digital technology, the exhibition aims to promote creativity and experimentation in art education.
