On the October 25, Tatyana Vladimirovna Kortava, Vice President of Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), visited Beijing Normal University. Chen Xing, Vice President of Beijing Normal University (BNU), met with the guests.

Chen Xing welcomed Vice President Kortava and her delegation. He reviewed the collaborations between the two universities in fields such as Russian language, education, and mathematics. He expressed hope that Kortava's visit would serve as an opportunity to further expand academic exchanges in disciplines like psychology and to continue deepening cooperation in talent cultivation, scientific research, and interdisciplinary studies.

Kortava expressed her gratitude for the warm reception at BNU. She introduced the MSU's strong academic disciplines and expressed her expectation to deepen cooperation with BNU, exploring new opportunities in interdisciplinary studies and educational innovation.

During the meeting, the two universities renewed their university-level macro cooperation agreement. After the talks, Chen Xing and Kortava jointly attended the opening ceremony of the 14th “Russian Studies” Graduate Academic Forum.
