BNU International Student Won the First Prize at the 13th Beijing College Students' Calligraphy Competition

In the recently concluded 13th Beijing College Students' Calligraphy Competition themed "Enduring Legacy of Ink, Eternal Glory of the Great Wall", BNU international student Ji Jing Jing delivered an outstanding performance and was awarded First Prize! Organized by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, this year’s competition attracted 683 entries from 54 universities across Beijing. After intense rounds of selection, BNU student stood out with exceptional calligraphy skills.

BNU nominated three international students—Ji Jing Jing, Pongviengthong Souphaluck, and Nguyen Huyen Anh—to participate in the preliminary round, all competing in the International Students' Hard Pen Category.

Under the professional guidance of Ms. Qu Chenxi from the School of Arts and Media, the participants underwent systematic training, refining their techniques and improving their artistic expression.

With her exceptional hard pen calligraphy piece themed on Great Wall culture, Ji Jing Jing stood out among 117 finalists, winning the First Prize.
