Li Wei expressed his delight at returning to his alma mater. He noted that BNU and IOE have enjoyed more than two decades of collaboration, during which they have forged a deep and enduring partnership. He expressed the hope that the two institutions would continue to work together in the future and serve as a model for Sino-British cooperation in higher education.

During the visit, Li Wei and his delegation held discussions with heads of several departments at BNU and reached a preliminary consensus on plans for future collaboration.
