BNU Vice President Chen Xing Attends Presidents' Forum of China-Russia University Association Online

On September 5, the Presidents' Forum of China-Russia University Association, co-hosted by the education authorities of China and Russia, was held. Nearly 100 representatives from 29 universities in China and Russia attended the event. Beijing Normal University(BNU) Vice President Chen Xing was invited to participate and deliver a keynote speech online.



Chen Xing shared the association's explorations and innovations in smart education in recent years. He noted that since its establishment in 2014, the association has consistently focused on teacher education, created initiatives such as the "China-Russia Teacher Education Forum" and continuously promoted educational exchange and cooperation between China and Russia. In response to the trend of digital transformation in education, the association has gathered domestic and international resources, actively conducting forward-looking research and practices to foster the deep integration of intelligent technology and education.


Chen Xing emphasized that the association will further strengthen collaboration among its member institutions and enhance exchanges with other similar university associations, contributing wisdom and strength to the development of education in both countries and globally.



With the support of the Chinese and Russian governments, the two countries have established 15 specialized associations. These associations involve over 800 universities from both nations, forming the largest bilateral higher education cooperation and exchange network in the world.
