The Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University of Bath and His Delegation Visited Beijing Normal University
From May 11 to 12, a seven-member delegation led by Manuel Barcia, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University of Bath (UoB), visited the Zhuhai Campus of Beijing Normal University (BNU). Chen Xing, Vice President of BNU, met with the delegation.

Chen Xing extended a warm welcome to Manuel Barcia and his delegation at BNU Zhuhai Campus, introducing the university's "One Body, Two Wings" educational layout and its development achievements. He expressed hope that this visit would deepen mutual understanding and trust, enabling both institutions to leverage their respective strengths in advancing practical cooperation across key areas such as disciplinary development, faculty-student exchanges, and joint research initiatives.

Manuel Barcia expressed his gratitude for the warm reception at BNU. He stated that he looked forward to leveraging this field visit as an opportunity to establish a sustainable communication bridge and usher in a new chapter of in-depth collaboration between the two institutions.

The UoB delegation also visited several venues at the Zhuhai campus, immersing themselves in the unique campus culture and academic atmosphere.

From May 13 to 14, some members of the delegation also visited the Beijing campus. Chen Xing welcomed the UoB representatives at the campus, where both sides reviewed and summarized the outcomes of their Zhuhai visit and engaged in exchanges with relevant collaborating departments.

The heads of the Zhuhai Campus Leading Group Office, the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, the International Office of Zhuhai Campus, and relevant departments within the university attended the aforementioned events.
