AED, also known as Automated External Defibrillator, is an easy-to-operate portable medical device that can be used to save patients with sudden cardiac death, providing the possibility of timely treatment for patients with cardiac arrest. The full equipment of AED devices in BNU has played a vital role in preventing emergencies and accidental injuries on campus, strengthening campus emergency protection, and further building a campus security line.

In the next stage, BNU will focus on the AED operation training, so that teachers and students can master how to use AED, and it will further enhance the safety awareness of teachers and students, improve the ability of self-rescue and mutual-rescue, and ensure that they dare to use and are able to use AED in emergency.
