After the Tokyo Olympics ended, Lang Ping officially announced her resignation as head coach of the Chinese women's volleyball team. On the afternoon of October 15th, she appeared at BNU Zhuhai as a teacher and brought a wonderful high-level volleyball class to the students.

Lang Ping, former head coach of Chinese women's volleyball team, President of China Volleyball college and vice president of China Volleyball Association, retired in 1986 after winning three consecutive world championships , was admitted to Beijing Normal University (BNU) in the same year to study English in the Department of Foreign Languages. After Graduation she left for abroad for many years. In 2013, she coached the Chinese women's volleyball team again.

In the face of students who have just entered university and are still strange in skills, Lang Ping showed her patience. While explaining the essentials of volleyball movements in detail, she demonstrated in person the correct receiving and running skills for the students. She also taught the students "volleyball mental skills" - how to unite and cooperate, adjust tactics, make good use of ingenuity and deal with mistakes.

Lang Ping encouraged the students and said: "No matter what your current level, you can always play well. I hope everyone can enjoy playing volleyball on the court."

This volleyball class is a professional class for the high-level women's volleyball team of BNU. Although it is not a public class for all undergraduates, a large number of students came to the stadium to watch and orderly stand outside to take a group photo with Lang Ping, making this class a "public class".

Lang Ping has also prepared a wonderful open course of general education for undergraduates in Zhuhai Campus. On the morning of October 16, the sixth session of the "World Champion Forum" - undergraduate general education course, planned and sponsored by the Academic Affairs Department of BNU and Lang Ping Sports Culture and Policy Research Center, and co-organized by the College of Education for the Future and Leyu College, opened in the International Exchange Center. There were separate classes in Liyun Building, with a total of more than 1200 people.
