Recently, Beijing Municipal Commission of Education announced the list of winners of the Outstanding Teachers of Higher Education of Beijing 2021 Award, and five teachers of BNU were elected. Among them, Kou supeng of the Department of Physics, Sun Yu of the School of Government, Jiang Yuan of the Faculty of Geographical Science and Liu Juan of the School of Foreign Languages and Literature were elected as the Outstanding Teachers of Higher Education of Beijing, and Li Xiaolong of the School of Chinese Languages and Literature was elected as the Outstanding Young Teachers of Higher Education of Beijing.

The Award of the Outstanding Teachers of Higher Education of Beijing aims to commend excellent teachers who have noble ethics, long-term adherence to forefront education, outstanding achievements in teaching reform, teaching team construction, scientific research level and academic support.

So far, a total of 69 teachers of BNU have been elected as the Outstanding Teachers of Higher Education of Beijing, and 5 people have been elected as the Outstanding Young Teachers of Higher Education of Beijing. These famous teachers actively participate in the teaching frontline and play an important role in the talent training of the school.
