2019 Global Natural Disaster Assessment Report was released on PreventionWeb of United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction. It was completed by Academy of Disaster Reduction and Emergency of Beijing Normal University, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Information institute of the Ministry of Emergency Management, National Disaster Reduction Center of China(NDRCC) .

The report systematically assessed the global natural disasters occurred in 2019 and over the last 30 years, and analyzed the ranking of China in Asia and worldwide. It provides the world with authoritative disaster data of China, to better serve the global disaster reduction and building a community with a shared future for mankind.
