QS World University Rankings 2020: BNU is 10th in Chinese Mainland and 277th in the World

 

On June 19, the latest Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings 2020 has just been released. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology ranked first for the eighth year, followed by Stanford University and Harvard University. Beijing Normal University ranked 277th in the world and 10th among universities in Chinese mainland, slightly higher than last year.

On the whole, the academic research influence of universities in Chinese mainland is continuously improving. Of the 42 universities in Chinese mainland  being ranked, 32 have their QS paper citation index up from last year.


The QS 2020 ranked 1000 of the world’s universities using six indicators: Academic Reputation; Employer Reputation; Faculty/Student Ratio; Citations per faculty; International Faculty Ratio; and International Student Ratio.
