[Notice] Call for Session Proposals | GeoSus Workshop 2025
Theme: Geography and Sustainable Development: From a Transdisciplinary Perspective
17-20 October 2025 · Xi'an, China
As a transdisciplinary discipline studying the coupled human and nature systems and their interactions, geography has natural advantages to promote the sustainable development by providing the underpinning theories, methodologies, models and data. Geographers have made important contributions to exploring the nexus between the natural and social sciences, and delivered knowledge and experiences that are needed to support transformation towards sustainable development.
The International Workshop on Geography and Sustainability 2025 aims to handle the challenges associated with geography and sustainable development by interdisciplinary research methods, strengthen exchanges and cooperation among different disciplines, and promote the integration and innovation of geography and sustainability. We look forward to you joining us in Xi'an, China in October 2025!
