The China-Southeast Asia Capacity Building Workshop (ASEAN-China TVET Policymakers Workshop): Transforming Learning for Sustainable Rural Development will take place on June 16 at Yingdong Academic Hall, Beijing Normal University.

The workshop will convene experts, practitioners, and policymakers in vocational and adult education from China and Southeast Asian countries to explore innovative pathways for promoting sustainable development in rural areas.

With a focus on the crucial role of TVET and adult learning and education (ALE) in fostering sustainable rural development, the event will address inclusive and resilient learning systems, green and digital transitions, sustainable livelihoods, and cross-sectoral collaboration. It will feature the exchange of practical experiences and policy initiatives from participating countries, aiming to bridge theory and practice and drive tangible impact in rural communities.
