For centuries, humans have been pursuing a development pattern in harmony with nature. Ecological civilization is perceived as one of the most inspiring notions for building consensus on our development. It leads us to common values. In an era where the world has been ravaged by the COVID-19 pandemic, amid the complicated global dynamics and environmental issues, the construction of ecological civilization is no longer an agenda of any single country. How to create a community of shared future for humankind and build a green, environmental-friendly ecological system is a permanent topic for the sustainable prosperity of our species. Against this background, School of Environment, Beijing Normal University (BNU), in conjunction with BNU Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, shall be launching the third session of the International Students' Ecology and Environment Forum with a theme of “Ecological Civilization and Community of Shared Future for Mankind”.
