Beijing Normal University’s Office of State-owned Asset Management



Beijing Normal University’s Office of State-owned Asset Management is responsible for overseeing the university’s fixed assets, such as land, houses, equipment and civil air defense system. The office is responsible for the followings: management of the account and card of the university’s assets; registration, accounting report and daily supervision of the university’s assets; procedures related to the custody, allocation, transfer, damage report and scraping report of the university’s assets; collecting, processing and checking of the data associated with property; daily management of the faculty’s housing provident fund and house purchasing subsidy. The office is charged with the responsibility to supervise the adding and maintaining of the value of the university’s land and property and overseeing the usage of its property of various kinds. In addition, it is also responsible for the rational allocation, coordination and checking of the university’s fixed assets and helps settle property disputes. The office has the responsibility to build and maintain the information base of the university’s assets and participates in their acquisition and bidding. It also reports to the higher authorities of state-owned asset management on behalf of the university as well as makes and sends statements timely. Finally, it establishes and improves relevant regulations and methods of management in line with the university’s reality.
