Recently, the Ministry of Education Regional and Country Research Base, Russian Research Center of Beijing Normal University, China, Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia Society and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences "One Belt and One Road" Research Center jointly hosted the "Jing Shi Asia-Europe Famous Forum". The first lecture topic is "70 years of Sino-Russian history: review and outlook."

The "Beijing Normal University Asia-Europe Famous Experts Forum" is a high-level academic forum jointly created by the Russian Center of Normal University and the Russian East Europe-Central Asia Society of China, aiming at promoting high-level academic research and cultivating compound talents. Professor Li Yongquan, director of the Institute of East European and Central Asian Studies in Russia, director of the research center of the "one belt and one road" of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Dean of the International Relation College, University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, became the guest speaker of this forum. Professor Liu Juan, Director of the Russian Research Center of Beijing Normal University, National and Regional Research Base of the Ministry of Education, and Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Foreign Literature of Beijing Normal University, presided over the lecture. Wang Xiaoquan, Secretary-General of the East European and Central Asian Society of Russia-China, and experts from the Russian Research Center attended the lecture.

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia (Su). Over the past 70 years, China and Russia (Su) have experienced the storms and become the model of bilateral relations in the international community today. Professor Li Yongquan explained the historical process of the development of Sino-Russian (Soviet) diplomatic relations in the past 70 years from the beginning, development and sublimation of Sino-Russian relations and Sino-Russian (Soviet) diplomatic relations in different periods.
In the lecture, Professor Li Yongquan analyzed the national institutional composition and national characteristics of China and Russia, combined with major historical events and historical facts to reproduce the changes made by the two countries in the historical transition period and the promotion of Sino-Russian bilateral relations. And the course of development, vividly explain why the current comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation between China and Russia has set a good example for today's world power relations, and why China and Russia have made remarkable achievements in exchanges and cooperation in various fields and achieve mutual benefit and win-win.
In view of the current situation in the field of humanities communication between China and Russia, Professor Li Yongquan emphasized the training of Russian talents in Chinese universities in the new era. He pointed out that colleges and universities need to combine the background of the “Belt and Road” strategy to cultivate excellent professionals and better docking with Russian-speaking countries and serve the “Belt and Road” construction.
At the end of the lecture, Professor Li Yongquan gave detailed answers to the questions raised by the teachers and students, and jointly discussed the development of Sino-Russian relations under the background of the “Belt and Road”.
