Beijing Normal University organizes non-Party people to visit the exhibition of On the road together

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the May 1st Slogan issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. In order to relive the history of multi-party cooperation and carry forward the fine traditions, on May 15th, the Party Committee and the United Front Work Department organized part of the non-Party personnel to visit the CPPCC Literary and History Museum and visited the “On the road together --- From the May 1st Slogan to the Retrospective Exhibition of the Important History of the Negotiations and Founding the People's Republic of China”. Sun Hongpei, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and secretary of the Disciplinary Committee, led the team. More than 30 people including Comrades from the United Front Department, representatives from various democratic parties, and non-partisan representatives attended the event.


70 years ago, the CPC Central Committee issued the “May 1st Slogan” and proposed the call for holding a political consultation meeting and the establishment of a democratic coalition government. It was warmly responded to by democratic parties and non-partisan democrats. This marked that all democratic parties and non-partisan groups have openly and consciously accepted the leadership of the Communist Party of China and opened the prelude of the Communist Party of China in negotiating with all parties, groups, and people of all nationalities to establish a nation, laying the foundation for the multi-party cooperation led by the Communist Party of China. The basis of the political consultation system.


The exhibition comprehensively demonstrated that the CCP Central Committee issued the “May 1st Slogan”. Democrats and non-partisan democrats broke through the obstructions from Hong Kong, Kuomintang governed region, and overseas. They turned to the liberated areas without hesitation, negotiated preparations for the New CPPCC, and the difficult and brilliant course in establishing a new China.


Everyone carefully listened to the explanations, carefully visited the historical pictures and precious cultural relics, deeply felt the mutual trust and sincere cooperation between the CPC and the democratic parties, and realized that the democratic parties have long pursued the democratic pursuit and the right choices. They sincerely praised Mao Zedong, The visionary vision and grand vision that Zhou Enlai and other leaders of the Chinese Communist Party expressed in negotiating with democrats to build a country. Everyone said that they will inherit the patriotic spirit of predecessors and ancestors. They will not forget the initial heart and mission of multi-party cooperation and work hard for the reform and development of the BNU and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
