Taiwan University of Political Science President Zhou Xingyi visits Beijing Normal University

On May 7, with the 22 members in line, Taiwan University of Political Science president Zhou Xingyi visited Beijing Normal University. President Dong Qi met with the delegation, and Vice President Zhou Zuoyu with related leaders of the Faculty of Education, School of Journalism and Communication, School of Government Management, College of Foreign Languages and Literature, School of Information Science and Technology, School of History, School of Law, and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office attended the meeting.



Dong Qi expressed his welcome to the visit of President Zhou Xingyi and his party. He reviewed the cooperation between the two universities over the years, introduced the history of Beijing Normal University, the "double-first-rate" construction, and the "one-piece two-wing" campus plan. He hoped that the two universities would rely on similar advantageous disciplines to deepen the academic level practical cooperation.



Zhou Xingyi introduced the achievements of Taiwan University of Political Science in the fields of discipline development, personnel training, and innovation mechanism. He said that on the basis of good cooperation in the past, the two schools can further strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the areas of humanities and social sciences such as news dissemination and history.



Taiwan University of Political Science is a comprehensive university known for its humanities and social sciences. It is one of the famous universities in Taiwan. The two universities signed a cooperation agreement and an exchange agreement in 2016.
