President of Louis University and representatives of Italian Embassy visited BNU

On April 9, the former Minister of Justice of the Italian Ministry of Justice, Paola Severino, President of the University of Louise, Italy, and Ambassador Francesco Sequi of the Italian Embassy in Beijing, etc., visited the Beijing Normal University. President Dong Qi held talks with the guests. Vice President Zhou Zuoyu, as well as the heads of the Law School, the Institute of Criminal Law Science, the G20 Anti-corruption Pursuit and Recovery Center, and the International Exchange and Cooperation Department attended the meeting.

Dong Qi welcomed Paola Severino’s visit. The two sides introduced the situation of their respective schools and discussed the further strengthening of cooperation between the two schools. Dong Qi said that there are many common points in the dominant disciplines of the two universities. He hopes to further promote cooperation and exchanges in the fields of economy and management on the basis of cooperation in the field of law disciplines. Paola Severino stated that he hopes that with the joint efforts of both parties, the cooperation and exchange between the two universities will be furthered. After the meeting, the delegation also visited the Beijing Normal University G20 Anti-corruption Pursuit and Recovery Center.

Louis University of Italy is a famous private university in Italy. It has four colleges: School of Business and Management, School of Economics and Finance, School of Law, and School of Politics. Its law, economics, and political science majors are the most competitive advantages subject in Europe.
