Recently, our school and the University of Saskatchewan in Canada jointly hosted a master's degree program in water security with the approval of the Ministry of Education. It becomes the first approved Sino-foreign cooperative education program of our school
The program relies on the Institute of Water Science of our university and the Global Institute of Water Security of the University of Saskatchewan in Canada, aiming at giving play to the advantages of both disciplines, and jointly cultivating watersheds, regional water resources safety planning and management personnel with an international perspective. The program will help our school to introduce foreign high-quality educational resources, optimize the teaching staff, promoting international personnel training system and high-end international cooperation platform.
The University of Saskatchewan Global Institute for Water Security is the world's leading institute in water research interdisciplinary. Currently, our school and the University of Saskatchewan are jointly promoting the establishment of a joint research center on climate and water science. We propose strategies and programs for water security issues in different countries or regions and are committed to build a well-known reputable platform as a global water science research and international exchange.
