Dean of School of Life Science Wang Yingdian expressed the appreciation for the attention and support given by university side to School of Life Sciences. He also reported that how the School of Life Science focus on two core missions of personnel training and innovation of science and technology and made development achievements in the "12th Five-Year" period. He also introduced the School of Life Science career planning in “the 13th Five-Year". School of Life Sciences party secretary Zhang Zhubo said, School of Life Science will view the "Double First Class" construction as an opportunity to promote discipline construction, promote the strength of two disciplines of ecology and biology to make them effectively enhanced.
In the concluding speech, President Dong Qi expressed his affirmation on the achievements of the School of Life Sciences. He pointed out that life science is of great significance to the development of the country and our BNU. To build a world class university, we must promote basic science and contribute to the development of the national science and technology. He said that BNU has always attached great importance to the School of Life Sciences and the vital position of life science, and put forward the corresponding ideas and Countermeasures for the problems and difficulties in the development of School of Life Sciences.
