In February 24th, the third meeting cum seminar of "The Belt and Road think tank" alliance Council was held in Beijing, hosted by the International Department of the Communist Party of contemporary world research center. Representatives from more than 93 think tanks and research institutions across the country more than 200 people attended the meeting. Our capital cultural innovation and Cultural Communication Engineering Research Institute and Beijing municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department as the jointly built university think-tank cultural think-tank, become a newly added alliance governing unit of “The Belt and Road”.
Professor Yu Dan gave a keynote speech with "cultural consensus based advance of `The Belt and Road’" as the subject. She put forward the concept of “culture people, the people interlinked”, that China traditional inclusive culture provides the basis for the "The Belt and Road" value consensus. China as a country, should base on the cultural confidence to accomplish the historical mission of the text to culture. She explained the thinking and key points of “The Belt and Road Initiative" construction from the angle of culture. The "harmony but not Sameness", "nature and human harmony", "righteousness and benefit", "the unity of knowledge, strive for perfection", 4 Chinese philosophy can be regarded as a cultural consensus around the world, especially as a logical starting point with the way. We should work through innovative ways, as well as effective communication strategies, to reach a common destiny of mankind consensus, awaken common cultural awareness of “The Belt and Road".
Professor Yu Dan's speech received the attention of the participants. At the meeting, the CPC Central Committee Liaison Department Director of the world research center of the contemporary, "The Belt and Road” think tank alliance Secretary General Jin Xin said, the alliance will pay major attention on supporting the Research Institute to carry out the traditional culture "going out " research.
