Our BNU Students Won Success in ICPC and CCPC Programming Contest

In October 15th, the forty-first International University Students Programming Contest of Asian regional tournament (ICPC) events and the second China Dalian Railway Station Collegiate Programming Contest (CCPC) HeFei Railway Station tournament kicked off at Dalian Maritime University and Anhui University respectively. In the two games, our school sent four teams and have achieved excellent results.
 
In the ICPC Dalian Railway Station competition in Oct.16, there were 219 teams from more than 100 colleges and universities with more than 600 students participated in the competetion. Our school of information science and technology, Professor Feng Su directed two teams participated in the competition. School of information science and technology students, He Weiqiang, Zeng Yaohui and Guo Hechuan team won the championship; School of Mathematical Science student, Li Zhechen, Bu Fan and School of information science and technology student He Zexue team won the bronze medal. This time BNU refreshed the school record and gain the best performance ever since participating the ACM competition, and also won the participation qualification of the International Collegiate Programming Contest in the global finals (ACM World Final) to be held in May 2017.
 
At the same time, in the HeFei site CCPC game, our BNU student team which is composed by Wang Fangyang from School of Mathematical Sciences, Zhang Yu and Sun Ke from School of Information Science won the gold medal. The BNU student team which is composed by Sun Wenqi, Liu Qiuyue and Yin Yue from School of Information Science won the silver medal.
