[Results] The "Jingshi No. 1" satellite completes feasibility of launch and evaluation of the requirements for the measurement and control system

On June 19, China Great Wall Industry Group Co., Ltd. organized a number of experts from organizations in Beijing including the China Academy of Space Technology, National Defense Industry and Technology Bureau, Xi’an Satellite Measurement and Control Center, Shanghai Academy of Aerospace Technology, Strategic Support Forces, and Jiaxing Copernicus Technology Co., Ltd. conducted the feasibility demonstration of the launch feasibility and the evaluation on the requirements of the measurement and control system for the “Jingshi No.1” Polar Observation Satellite (development code: BNU-1) jointly developed by BNU and Shenzhen Dongfanghong Hai Special Satellite Co., Ltd. The chief scientist of "BNU-1", Prof. Cheng Xiao of the Global Academy attended the meeting.

 

It is understood that the current progress of satellite development as a whole implementation of the plan is right on the track. The launch of this launch feasibility and the determination of the measurement and control system requirements is a key node. The next important node is the factory review in October. If everything is normal, " Jingshi No.1" will be launched at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center by the end of this year.

 

In addition, in order to support the efficient digital transmission of satellites after their ascension, the Global Academy has sent teacher Zhang Baogang to enter the Arctic region to promote the construction of cooperative ground stations.
