[Seminar] Information technology to promote rural compulsory education development experts seminar held

To further implement the spirit of the party's nineteenth congress, to promote the development of rural compulsory education in China, commissioned by the Ministry of Education Division of Basic Education, equipment and information technology sub-division, Wisdom Learning Institute of Beijing Normal University, UNESCO International Rural Education Research and Training Center recently held a "The development of rural compulsory education informatization promotion expert group seminar". Nearly 20 experts from Beijing Normal University, Peking University, Northwest Normal University, Central Audio-Visual Education Center, and primary and secondary schools and enterprises participated in the seminar.

The rural compulsory education policy, experiences and challenges of information technology development supporting China's rural compulsory education have been analyzed in the seminar. The Research Report on rural compulsory education and information and typical cases have been shared. Experts believe that our country’s education informatization in rural areas drives the reform and development in the field of education. The education informatization engineering put "three through two platform" as the core to promote the quality education resources continuous expanding coverage, teachers' application ability of information technology has been greatly improved. The popularity of informatization teaching and research continue to grow. For the future development of rural compulsory education informatization, attending experts combined with their field of study and experience, focusing on the rural basic environmental construction of education informatization, quality education resources construction and sharing, information fusion and application of teaching, teachers' professional development and application of information technology ability training, students' learning and the promotion of information literacy, school leadership, the county level education public service informatization capacity and other aspects of the problem, put forward the development strategies and suggestions.
 
Experts suggest that the education informatization construction should not only sum up and continue the achievements and experience has been made in the past, but also to strengthen the basic education informatization top-level design to solve the problem, continue to deepen the application of information technology innovation in education, service and management, promote and release the productivity of education informatization fusion innovation, promote education fairness, promote the quality of education.
