[Lecture]The former Asian Development Bank Vice President Rajat Branagh visited our school and made a keynote speech

In the evening of April 5th, Emerging Market Research Institute, "The Belt and Road" Research Institute held the seventh lecture of BNU "The Belt and Road" lectures series. The former executive vice president of the Asian Development Bank, the Emerging Market Research Institute Special Professor Rajat Branagh made a keynote speech entitled "twenty-first Century: the Asian century?". Professor Hu Biliang attended and presided over the auditorium activities.
 
Professor Rajat Branagh introduced seven challenges that the Asian Development is facing in the new century. He believes that the development of Asia are closely linked to the global development. Asia must address these challenges at the national, regional and global three levels, adhere to international standards, strengthen its system construction, to ensure common prosperity and development in Asia and the global economy. After the lecture, Professor Rajat Branagh interacted with and participants and answered questions that Chinese and foreign teachers and students concerned.
 
"The BNU `The Belt and Road` auditorium" is a series of activities that Beijing Normal University Emerging Market Research Institute and "The Belt and Road" Research Institute hold. "The BNU `The Belt and Road` auditorium" forum dedicated to invite experts and scholars, government officials and entrepreneurs with outstanding contributions in "The Belt and Road" research and practice to the platform to share experience, to help “The Belt and Road” innovation theory and practice,   to promote the healthy development of Belt and Road Initiative".
