Du Yubo said in his letter: “In the patriotism education and other moral education activities, how to avoid the simple sermon and improve education actual effect has been the bottleneck of the moral education. With the aesthetic design of ‘traveling on the map,’ ‘My Home is in China’ relies on the education concept of ‘moral education aesthetics’, integrates ‘natural China’, ‘cultural China’ with ‘contemporary China,’ and designs a set of ‘China story’ dedicated to children. It fully integrates into the aesthetic study, constructive learning, critical learning and other advanced education concepts, not only a resource manual related to the integrated state of Chinese history, geography, culture, and development, but also a high quality moral education book for carrying out patriotism education.” He instructed, after the launch, "we should widely publicize the painting series, make great effort to encourage primary and secondary schools around China to make full use of the book in different ways, and ensure that it plays the biggest benefit in patriotic education and socialist core values education.”
