President’s Assistant Zhang Qiang

    Zhang Qiang (May 1972 -), Male, Han Nationality, native of Ji County, Tianjin, CCP member.  
   Zhang Qiang is currently the Assistant Principal Director of Logistics Management at Beijing Normal University, responsible for logistics support.
   
After receiving an undergraduate degree from the College of Chemistry, Beijing Normal University, Zhang Qiang went on to earn his Master of Management degree from BNU’s School of Political Sciences and International Relations. In September 2011 he began work toward a Ph.D. in Educational Economics and Management in a BNU Faculty of Education on-the-job program. He has served successively as the Deputy Secretary of the Group Working Committee of the North school, Director of the Student Affairs Division, Director of the Group Working Committee, Deputy Director of the Party & School Office, Adjunct Director of the Division for Cooperation in Basic Education, Deputy Secretary of the Alumni Association and Director of Logistics Management for Beijing Normal University.
   
Among other honors, Zhang Qiang has been recognized for a National Energy-Saving advanced individual, as an Outstanding Worker for the Capital National Day 60th Anniversary Parade, for outstanding work on the Economic Census and as an Outstanding Communist Party member at Beijing Normal University. In addition to other duties, he currently serves as the Adjunct Director of the College Logistics Management Union of Beijing and as Adjunct Secretary General of the National Society of College Logistics. He has also attended cadres training at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and at Cardiff University and he participated in the 39th China Youth Cadre Training Course of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. He has published more than twenty academic papers.
